1. Service
CATAVAL provides music catalog valuation, certification, and marketplace tools. Output is for informational and negotiation support; it is not financial, legal, or tax advice.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@cataval.com if you suspect a breach.
3. Acceptable use
- No scraping at scale, no reverse-engineering of our valuation models.
- No submission of catalog data you do not have rights to submit.
- No impersonation, fraud, or attempts to disrupt service for other users.
4. Data & intellectual property
You retain ownership of catalog data you submit. You grant CATAVAL a license to process it for the purpose of providing the service. CATAVAL owns the valuation methodology, certification framework, and aggregated market intelligence derived from public sources.
5. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” Comparable sales data is sourced from public reporting and may contain errors. CATAVAL is not liable for trading, acquisition, or licensing decisions made on the basis of any valuation or market intelligence output.
6. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email to active users at least 14 days before they take effect.
